Pallet Pavilion

Gap Filler wanted a pavilion made of shipping pallets to host events for the summer of 2012. They enlisted myself and three graduate architects to come up with a design and then we built it with the help of many volunteers and donated materials. The iconic blue pavilion was so successful that the people of Christchurch raised $80,000 to keep it over winter for another summer of fun. It has also won a few design awards and featured in various media around the world including the billboards used by Canterbury University.
